Our second ever experience with Anjappar after New York and the food was amazing.

We visited first time with family for buffet in Sunday in Bellevue. Spread, ambience was great compared to food. Things that let us down 1. Tandoori chicken. Only color was red taste blank without any spice, we hardly eat it. 2. Desserts. No ice creams. Sweets like jamun, kesari and custard are full of sugar could hardly eat one spoon each. 2 to 3 times normal sweetness. 3. One more chicken fry was really good, goat curry was also good and biryani was again let down.

The biggest warning sign that Anjappar just isn't that good is the way the tiffin room next door has a massive line and Anjappar has none. The second warning sign that something might be amiss is the super strong incense burning in the entrance. Combined with the bottled water they had for the tables, I had to wonder if there was a sewer/plumbing issue. I stank of incense when...
