Truly good Chinese food needs a good wok: and that was something I felt was missing all throughout my meal.
While the ambience of Baron’s felt fancy, the food simply could not keep up. An unfortunate mix of too-salty and less than seasoned dishes resulted in a disappointing night. Ultimately, I will not be returning, especially given the price point. There are far better Chinese restaurants in Bellevue!

The decor was amazing, and the food was definitely priced to match. My biggest issue, though, is that I went in expecting a Chinese restaurant rather than a Chinese-inspired restaurant, and that difference affected my expectations.

The mayo shrimp were noticeably smaller than what I’m accustomed to at a typical Chinese restaurant, and the same was true of the sweet-and-sour pork. It was nice that they used Kurobuta pork belly, but you definitely pay...

Always a fabulous and delicious experience. The Peking duck is in the top 3 in my life and I have had it IN Peking. Monday is the best day. They run a special that can't be beat. We go here at least once a month and we live an hour away!
