Great food, the Mac and cheese is top notch, better than any other place in Seattle that I know of. Service could be better as cashier experience is very transactional without much in the way of smiles or friendliness.

I recently went back to Ezell’s Famous Chicken after not having it for a long time. Growing up, this place was a staple in my neighborhood—hands down some of the best fried chicken around.
Unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing. The mild recipe is not the same at all—it honestly tasted more like elementary school lunch quality than the flavorful chicken I remember. The spicy version was better,...

This place is pretty inconsistent. I've ordered from here probably about 50 times (both pickup and delivery) and sometimes the 4 piece dinner has the tiniest pieces of chicken. I understand that technically speaking I got exactly what I was paying for (4 pieces), but it definitely feels really disappointing opening the box and seeing that I don't have enough food for leftovers or to share, so it ends up being a single meal for $30.
