I always get the vegetarian bento box, which has a nice variety and always fills me up and then some.
While in downtown Tacoma, Washington my friend recommended I check out TheKoi one of her favorite sushi restaurants in the area. She certainly steered me in the right direction. Professional and quick service. The sushi was so fresh it almost melted in my mouth. Stop in if you’re in the downtown area maybe after visiting the Tacoma Arts Museum. You sushi lovers will have a new favorite dining location to haunt.

THEKOI Sushi & Sake offers a great experience with very personable and welcoming staff. The food is great, with some vegetarian options available. The restaurant has a nice, quiet dinner date atmosphere and is also a comfortable and pleasant place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The service is attentive and friendly, although it can be a little slow at times. The chef is great and serves incredible dishes, such as the chirashi bowl. The restaurant also offers convenient parking options. The food is delicious, with great sushi and non-fish menu items like yakisoba and chicken teriyaki. THEKOI Sushi & Sake is a bit pricey, but the quality of food is good. They also offer special meals like the 30pcs omakase, which is super fresh and enough for 4 people. Overall, THEKOI Sushi & Sake is a great spot to enjoy a meal, with some minor improvements needed in service.
