The food was delicious. However I reserved a table for 2 for a date. Our table was a few centimeters from a large table with noisy people. It was so noisy that we had to talk loud and repeated sentences twice many times. At the end of night my partner was with a headache. It was for sure not what we expected.
The menu is huge and covers just about everything you'd expect from this restaurant. The sushi rolls are great, fresh and well presented on the plate. Their individual servings of fresh fish are fresh and I really like hope they space out your servings.
Food was good. Service expectations not quite up to par, when you spend $800 in one sitting at least filling a glass of water should happen or clearing a table. Unfortunately for Japonessa they have the worst service I've experienced in Bellevue dining out.
