We have had hit and miss experiences here. Last night was a solid hit. Our server was amazing, food was delicious. Shrimp cocktail was fresh. Tableside ceaser was perfectly prepared-full of flavor. Steak bites were tender and flavorful. Lobster bisque was enjoyed by my father in law. Bananas foster dessert was great. Solid experience.
We had a great meal- oysters were served with a delicious mignonette, wedge salad had the best bacon I've ever tasted, salmon and penne Alfredo was served perfectly. My only observation was that the room could use a bit of warmth, or color, or coziness. Needs a touch of romance- fresh flowers maybe? Great meal and service!
Dining at John Howie steakhouse was a fantastic experience. We were a party of 4, celebrating a birthday. From the moment we were greeted at the door, then being seated at a window view table... the staff was amazing on every level. The food was thoughtfully prepared and each dish was delicious. We really appreciated all the attention to detail, we enjoyed the wine that the sommelier suggested, the waitstaff and everyone who made our evening so special. John Howie dining experience...
