I ordered spring rolls and lemongrass pork from Papaya upon seeing glowing reviews for this restaurant on Uber Eats. It was the perfect place for some rainy-weather food. They were quite accommodating to my order, as I requested rice instead of the typical vermicelli noodles served with my dish. Papaya Beef Pho is a little different, in a good way. The broth has more oil/fat than any other Pho places and I like it that way. The taste and spices are also a little different and very yummy. The price was pretty steep at $14.99 but you get a lot of food. Another benefit is that it's in the food court at CrossRoads mall so your friends could get some thing else if they wanted. Definitely my favorite bunh mi in the area and a great option based on reliability and service. I've been getting the carmelized pork #2 but the sautéed pork #6 is also a solid option. Being from CA, this takeout Bunh Mi reminds me of home and has been a go to for me the last several months now.
