I’ve been a loyal customer here for two years, always enjoying the food and atmosphere. However, my last visit was deeply upsetting. One of the long-time staff members—a shorter gentleman of Asian descent, who often wears a hat and typically works in the kitchen but serves in the evenings—mocked me. He used the ‘Indian head tilt’ stereotype and imitated my accent in a joking manner while I was ordering. After countless positive visits and spending so much money here, this was shocking and hurtful. Now I feel like I don’t want to return. I truly hope management addresses this behavior so no customer has to feel unwelcome or disrespected again.

The bahn mis were really good and very reasonably priced. We tried the BB special and the breakfast and both had good flavor. The breakfast tastes really fresh and both have a really nice green cilantro sauce to go with them. The BB does have some fatty pieces but that’s expected with pork belly. Tried the spring roll and it was good too with a nice peanut sauce. Small bonus the chairs were also comfy so that’s nice.
We’ll be back!

5/5 for sure. Can’t ask more for a work lunch. I ordered a grilled pork with sunny side egg half salad half rice. You’ll be so satisfied with a mouthful of flavorful marinated pork and everything, so tasty. Great portion. Staff were friendly and super efficient!

Food is great but service is not. They almost always never have corn available. The staff is rude and only wants to shove a ton of rice and hardly any protein/veggies in the bowls. They tend to be narcissistic when we ask about it. Pathetic! We got takeaway and the bag literally smelled like poop. Disgusting

I came here as a last resort because most places were already closed around 9 PM, and I’m actually glad they were because otherwise I might have never discovered this place.
When I tell you this is some of the tastiest food I’ve had in Seattle while trying to eat clean, it did not disappoint at all. The portions were very generous, everything tasted incredibly fresh, and every bite was amazing. It’s not always easy to find food that’s both clean and packed with flavor, but they absolutely nailed it.
I will definitely be coming back.

Delicious fresh Vietnamese rice bowl. I did a grilled chicken bowl with half salad half rice. The portions are generous. All toppings are tasty and fresh and I added a double side egg . The green sauce is straight fire. Its a cilantro sauce that is a must have for your bowl. I also added the chili oil. Overall very tasty and would visit again.

Big shoutout to Alejandro for handling a rough Sunday shift like a pro. The restaurant got unexpectedly slammed and you could tell the team was feeling the pressure. Even with the rush and long line, Alejandro stayed calm, kept a positive attitude, and made sure customers were taken care of as quickly as possible. The food was bomb!
It was my first time at Sizzle Crunch and Alejandro honestly made the experience great. I wasn’t really sure what to get at first, but he helped me choose and explained a few things on the menu. Ended up really liking my order. Super friendly guy and good customer service overall. Definitely made me want to come back.

I’d been to the UDist location dozens of times while in grad school and was excited when I saw this new location pop up while looking for lunch nearby.
The employees were so rude and chaotic during the lunch rush. I was asked three separate times if I wanted onions and corn (I didn’t). Another employee was rushing customers along the line and speaking much louder than necessary. When doing my toppings he asked if I wanted everything and I said “yes, everything but the green sauce” and he was so rushed all he heard was yes. Awesome. I tried to stop him, but he was moving so fast and said “when you say everything that includes sauce.” Okay.
I went to the pay and the girl was too busy handling both grabbing order ahead orders and ringing customers up. She was super rude to me and dismissive of a woman trying to give her order number. I wanted fish sauce with my meal but she had put the payment screen up and walked away to grab orders before I could even ask. Finally, I wanted a straw for my drink. There were only the large straws meant for boba drinks and I wanted a normal straw. I saw there were some behind the counter, so I went up and asked and she said no. Why? She said the straws were on the table and I said I wanted a skinny straw, and she said those were the only straws available, when I was literally looking at the regular ones. Why are we hoarding skinny straws?!
Speaking of drinks, this location offers many more specialty ones than the UDist does. I said I wanted a Thai tea, and the same girl said “it’s going to be a while” and seemed so frustrated I asked. I can only imagine the disdain if I ordered a frozen drink or the spring rolls. Their menu is too large to handle a lunch rush.
Anyways, the whole atmosphere was terrible and not a good dine in experience. The whole time employees were yelling at customers, the payment area/pickup area was super chaotic.
I understand the lunch rush is crazy, but many places handle it with ease. This place is not one of them. I will not be returning, and if I do, will stick to the UDist location.

Alejandro at Sizzle & Crunch in Bellevue is awesome. Super helpful, always bringing great energy, and you can tell he’s a hard worker every time I’m there. I see him working consistently and taking pride in what he does. It’s always a good experience when he’s on shift. Makes the place feel welcoming and runs things smoothly.

When the food at work is bad, I always come here and buy my rice bowl. My most recent visit was bad because the serving was less than usual. I have noticed the portion is getting less and less every time I come here. I mentioned it to the new staff, but he wanted to charge me an extra $5 when I asked him to put two more pieces of chicken. If this place weren't near my work, I would not consider going here anymore. I hope this review will reach the owner or manager so they will bring back the generous portion.
