About Eques

Eques offers a variety of tasty options on their menu, with the Belgian waffle and chicken apple sausage being a standout. This popular breakfast place is located across the WinterGarden from the Hyatt, featuring a large, open room that is more enjoyable than it is visually striking. It is a family-friendly spot, often filled with kids. The hosts are pleasant and accommodating, ensuring that guests can enjoy a quieter dining experience away from the noise. The service is generally attentive, with some servers, like Crystal and Angel, providing warm and genuine interactions that make guests feel welcomed and appreciated.

While there have been some reports of overpriced, poorly executed eggs benedict and sour berries, the overall quality of food remains excellent. Many guests enjoy the buffet, which offers a rotating selection including scrambled eggs, bacon, salmon salad, and today's items like chorizo quesadillas and chicken sausages. The buffet area is clean and well-stocked, and the servers are polite and efficient. Although the buffet is $31.96 after tax, guests feel it is worth it for the quality compared to nearby options. Eques is a favorite spot for many, with regular visitors returning for both the buffet and menu items, and parking in the underground garage is free on weekdays with validation and always free on weekends.

We had an awesome birthday breakfast the lady server was very nice and friendly.
Nice atmosphere without being to “stuffy” - however, prices to the east-coast girl seem a little high (but expected for the area). The French toast was okay, but not like in the south. I am interested to try a smoothie before my trip is over.
The food is fairly good, if a bit pricy. However, the thing that soured my whole experience was after the food was finished: It took nearly thirty minutes from the time I finished my food and was given the bill to when the server came by to actually let me pay for it. Sitting around for half an hour after finishing was not exactly in my plans for the day, and it was a sour end to what had been a fairly decent experience.
