Avenue Bread - Railroad Ave Reviews
Avenue is an iconic Whatcom County lunch/breakfast spot and they always hit just right! You genuinely can't go wrong with anything off their menu, and I love that I still feel great after eating there.
Love how easy it is to customize different sandwiches to adapt to dietary needs and everything just tastes SO good. Plus, I feel they're super affordable and love that you can pickup a loaf of bread or sleeve of english muffins on your way out!

I stopped in a couple days ago to get two sandwiches. One of them was the club on sourdough. When I got home, the bacon was cold. The fat part was gray🤮. It had obviously been cooked much earlier in the day, and even though I came in close to their closing time, they should’ve put up some fresh bacon or not put that nasty crap on my sandwich. I’ll never go back to that one again.
You made leaving our daughter at WWU so much better! An awesome lunch made a lovely memory❤️ Thank you!
