“After visiting nearby Marine Life Center with my six-year-old daughter, we found a warm place to hang out in Ponderosa. Here’s our experience.1) Food: They have a food menu with happy hour deals. Stopping in on a late afternoon, we ordered the chips and salsa and the cheese platter for snacks. My daughter loved them both. I was a fan of the cheese with the cherry jam.2) Drinks: I was happy to see cider on their beer list. I ordered an Oregon cider that wasn’t too sweet.3) Service: It was impeccable. It feels like a family and every customer is treated with kindness. Even dogs are welcome!4) Space: It’s a beautiful space with a parking lot and loft seating. Outlets were near the tables so I could charge my phone as I ate.“
“For a brewery with a large beer list, go here. With an outdoor tent set up and a large indoor warehouse space, there’s plenty space to sit and hang out. They have beer for any palate and they do tasting pours. My favorite is their berry plum sour ale. It’s tart and a tad sweet. They rotate food trucks every day they are open.“
“This brewery is fantastic! Our beer-tender was a delight and was very knowledgeable. I had a flight of three brews, each more delicious than the next. I finally settled on a pint of their Citra IPA. I really appreciate that their hoppy beers aren’t overly assertive; instead, they’re more complex and balanced. Also, the environment is SO great: rustic, charming, artsy, inviting, not to mention dog-friendly: everything you want in a beer garden!“
“We’ve taken our pup twice now and are so impressed with them. Great service, amazing outdoor area for the dogs to play and people to relax and just such a neat concept. I only wished we lived closer but we’ll definitely keep coming back! Highly recommend taking a look inside, the pet store area is great with so many healthy options for your pets. Give them a follow in social media they have all sorts of awesome events too.“
“This place is always a great option to visit! Even for someone like me who doesn't particularly enjoy beer, they have a variety of drink options to choose from. They serve mixed cocktails, tea and a rotating draft list of local beer and cider. They also offer seasonal cocktails, which are both fun and delicious to try. The food may be a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth it as the taste is simply amazing. I highly recommend trying the pretzel and bratwurst if you decide to visit. As this is an outdoor spot, it's a perfect place to hang out during warmer weather or even year-round with the heat lamps they have to keep you warm and cozy. The staff are always super friendly and quick to bring your food and drinks.“
“Swung by this joint for the first time during our Christmas break getaway with the wife and kiddos. Went for the BLT and wife got the chipotle black bean burger. Gotta say, we were both pretty impressed with the grub! Our kids both got fish and chips - it was so tasty that I had to snag a few fries for myself. Our server Alexander was super friendly and great with the kiddos. He let us know that Cyrus was the mastermind behind our burgers and he knocked it out of the park! Definitely bookmarking this spot for our next trip to Bellingham.“
“Wow this place is worth a stop! Driving home from Vancouver and made a stop at Menace because we were looking for dog friendly places. Hands down the best IPA’s we’ve had our whole trip! I’ll stop here anytime I’m in town from now on.“
