Love El Gitano! Used Togo to El Gitano in Mt. Vernon on Riverside Drive. I usually get the Express Burrito w/ Guacamole and Sour Cream & Rice & Beans. But I also like Seafood Enchiladas, and Quesadillas and others. Everything is great! Last I was in Sunset Square in Bellingham. Margaritas are great! Sometimes a cervaza like Corona. You will like El Gitano!

This has been a fav restaurant since I was a little girl. We came in couple days ago waited over 45mins for our food my partners burrito was soggy and my daughters chicken strips were hard we waited awhile for our check and waited about 6-10mins for somebody to come get our bill we ended up going to the front so we could pay. We chose not to tip and later seen on our bank statement they self tipped and we were charged for a tip we didn’t approve of.

This place has gone down hill so fast. It used to be so good. But as of recently the service is terrible. The food isn’t good. There isn’t any options for a good hot sauce or salsa and the atmosphere is not pleasant. It’s sad to see a place we used to love going to stop caring about there customers.

I recommend them for anyone, families, groups, solo, or meetings for business. Food is fresh and hot. Salsa is delicious and I love the lunch specials Monday through Friday! First of all, I'll tell you a mexican restaurants know how to take care of their customers.The customer service has always been good at any mexican restaurant.I've been to and they're so friendly, and so nice.This one is the same.Everybody is great.The atmosphere was awesome.The bartender was engaging the waitresses were super fun. And we only had appetizers and drinks, and it was an awesome time.
