Have enjoyed the ambience at Scotty's for years and the service is always cheerful and efficient. The price of wine seems to have increased. A Gin ordered was drowned by Tonic and quite tasteless, perhaps because we didn't order a large one! I will be more careful when ordering drinks there next time. The choice...
Any dish with the blackened chicken I highly reccomend. The seasoning on the chicken is phenomenal and in my experience the chicken is thoroughly cooked but not at all dry. Espresso martinis are nice as well. Fully stocked bar (beer, wine, cocktails) and well-rounded menu (including happy hour options).
Only downside for me, I have a great personal dislike of the interior decorations. Feels corporate and stale. Photos of 1950's celebrities seem out of place...

I’ve lived here for quite some time, and this place never really caught my attention, but I figured it was finally time to try it.
At first glance, it feels like a wannabe city-style restaurant. The aesthetic and attitude don’t really match the feeling or vibe of Bellingham. It reminded me more of something you’d see in Chicago than a local spot here.
One thing that stood out immediately was the lack of alignment between the restaurant’s expectations...
