This place is special to me. My first day in town my apartment wasnt ready and I slept in the car. I was pretty down about other things going wrong that day and came here for food. Was my first and so far best meal id had living in this state. Such a great feeling in an unfamiliar city.
Ive been going back multiple times ever since cause I adore everything about this place. From its tiny lobby to its delicious katsu sauce. Thank you guys, for keeping me fed and happy on cold dark nights. Your food helped me a lot with getting through tough times.

food is absolutely delicious, but oh my god is their service nothing short of horrendous. i have never had a good experience with any of their employees over the phone or in person. calling them to order food feels like calling someone with a personal vendetta against you, but you’re really just trying to support their business. employees are rude every time without fail

This place is a half mile from the University, and lots of students stop here. The most popular is the number three, chicken teriyaki and katsu. Portions are large and good value for the price. And quite tasty!

I really liked this place before it got sold to the new owners and I was originally very skeptical, but now that we're further down the line I'm very pleased with how this teriyaki spot has continued. Food is still great, with small changes made to dishes, but the overall menu staying pretty similar. I also always enjoy family restaurants and it's nice to see the family working behind the counter.
My first time in here, my wife has eaten here a few times. Last time she ordered through Uber Eats and some things were missing. (Restaurant forgot some stuff). So she called and was offered a replacement next time she came in. Today we came by, the (owner I think) definitely took care of us. Hooked us up with plenty of extras on the house. They were friendly, and the food was definitely good. Very pleasant experience, we will definitely come back, and I’d highly recommend to others.

Waited 45 minutes for chicken and salmon, while 10-15 people came and went and were served ahead of me. Then was told they were out of sides after they gave them all to everyone who came after me. Chicken was cold and overcooked.
