Fairly typical Northwestern drive-thru coffee shack with some indoor seating as well. Cash, credit/debit cards accepted. Order at the kiosk then pull around to one of two windows to pay and receive your order, or park and go inside. Service is quick and friendly but also very busy and rushed so you may need to remind them of aspects of your order. Serving teas, coffees, a few other light drinks and a few simple baked goods.
Great staff. Good place to kill some time if you have a tire replacement appointment nearby. I do think it’s nuts that they don’t post prices of their food items- pretty hostile towards anyone on any kind of budget (most of us!). My sausage and egg biscuit tasted soft, bland, and chalky. I yearned for hot sauce. Alas there was none.
Woods Coffee's Bakerview Square location is consistently quick, friendly, and reliable. Staff are welcoming, accountable, and efficient, and the space is noticeably very clean, which I really appreciate.
The only downside is the seating setup. The indoor tables are bolted down, which makes it challenging for group work or rearranging seating; especially given that the café is right next to a college. It may be intentional to prevent overcrowding, which...
