“A girlfriend and I met for breakfast at a different port orchard location. Despite the sign on the door displaying their hours as being open, the lights were on, the place was empty, and the doors were still locked. We left and decided to take a chance going to the family pancake house just up the street. Though it seemed early to me on a Saturday morning (9:15 am) the place was buzzing, there were bright eyes, smiling faces, and tables filling with people of all ages from small children to seniors. There was no wait, as the seating is plenty. Our server was a familiar, friendly face and we felt welcome to be there. The menu had many delicious options and was accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Everything about this place made me love Port Orchard that much more. And instead of leaving a poor review for the other restaurant, I felt compelled to leave a raving one here instead!“

“As a Colombian, I hold the bar pretty high when it comes to finding authentic food away from home and Monserrate absolutely delivered. A friend recommended it and I made a point to stop in while traveling for work, and I'm so glad I did.

The staff was warm, fun to chat with, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from the moment I walked in. And the food? Incredible. It hit all the right notes and felt like home.

“I recommend the Old Spaghetti Factory! The spumoni is the best anywhere! What I wish is that you put the Angel Hair [Capellini] Pomodoro back on the menu as it has always been my favorite on the menu. I can always make it at home but it wouldnt be as great! They did not even have angel hair available for me to somehow piece meal it together off the menu! Outrageous! Please bring it back! Easy to make and economical. Thank you 😋“
