Came here with the family while visiting Seattle and am so grateful we did. This is one of those places where you can’t go wrong ordering anything off the menu. The beers/cocktails were great, but the star of the show was the brussel sprout starter. We’d come back everyday for those if we could. Overall an incredible place for dinner and drinks. Atmosphere is very cozy with the dim lighting, pretty tavern design, and huge fireplace. Definitely would return!
I wanted to share this for anyone looking for a place to enjoy a cigar. I was informed by staff that cigar smoking is not permitted anywhere on the McMenamins Anderson School property, including the outdoor patios. If you’re specifically looking for a place to relax with a cigar and a drink, this may not be the right choice. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and worth visiting if you don’t plan to smoke.
Beautifully situated patio dining w trees, bushes/flowers-walking path and looks like they have outdoor entertainment. Food was delicious, great presentation. Dog friendly. This is an old school that was renovated to hotel / restaurants. There is an Hawaiian flare cuisine restaurant across the parking lot. Definitely recommend!!
