Absolutely exceptional experience at Breadfarm! From the moment I stepped into this charming bakery, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked breads and pastries, setting the stage for a truly remarkable visit. Each item on display boasted artisanal craftsmanship, clearly made with the utmost care and premium ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the sourdough and the assortment of rustic pastries, each bite more delicious than the last. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the high quality of their offerings. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making my shopping experience even more enjoyable. Breadfarm is a true gem in Washington State, delivering an unparalleled bakery experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch breads and pastries at great prices. A solid 5-star establishment!

Best baguette in the PNW! Great pastries too, but a good baguette is really hard to find.

The best bread I've had outside of Europe. Beautifully made, absolutely delicious even on the 2nd and 3rd days. Also delicious pastries! We will definitely return. The service was fine, but is limited to taking your order from a window from the street.

I can't comment on the bread, but based on the cookies I wouldn't recommend. The cookies were $10.50 for 5 little cookies. They were cold, hard and tasted old. Actually ended up throwing them away. The walk up window is not ideal, as you can't see the actual product.

Always worth stopping by here whenever I head up north. Having their breakfast danish, potato leek danish, and kouign-amann on the bank of the Edison Slough are all some of my favorite ways to start a roadtrip.

The only way to improve on the absolute perfection of Breadfarm's amazing pastries and breads, so precisely up the street of people who love quality, real food and a refreshing break from the usual bakery onslaught of white sugar and cheap ingredients... would be if they opened a cafe where you could nestle in cozy bliss to enjoy their wares - but that would be a whole different business to layer on to what already, for me, as I've said, is perfection. Edison has many other alluring delights to offer, from the scenery to shops & galleries selling all kinds of cool stuff, but the trek out there is 100% worth it for a Breadfarm run (especially since you can't get their bread at the Skagit Co-op anymore. My top pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant, to us Yanks) in the whole state, if not the world.

These are the type of places that so positively impact an area that they differentiate whether one would want to live nearby. Their offerings are the best of the best. We had French exchange students living with us tell us their baguette is as good as anything you can get in France. A true gem on planet earth. And Skagit Valley ?

We love the white/sourdough bread and get it all the time but our last visit we figured out their wheat bread is a couple notches down. Too bitter and earthy. The vanilla creme chocolate cookies were sub par due to the cookie part texture was off a bit(hard, crumbly and tasted like flour)

Yes please! I love to visit Bow-Edison for coffee and a treat from Breadfarm, and as the name suggests, one or more loaves of bread. They used to sell their bread a bit further south at the co-op in Mount Vernon, but I haven't seen it recently. So unless you are going up as far as the co-op or farmers market in Bellingham, their quaint shop is place to visit. Plus the town is very sweet to visit!
