Verde bowl was amazing, but the Tacos Asada meat was a bit tough. Cute lil spot with outdoor seating on a grassy area with trees. Service was great but they could use an extra set of hands as the person at the till really had their hands full with their duties!

My family makes the hour long drive to Edison fairly regularly and a stop at Mariposa is always on the agenda. I know that there are other great food options near by but it's so hard to say no to what is, in my opinion, the best Mexican food in the state. Talking with a friend, he said it was "in a league of its own" and I have to agree. Fresh, quality ingredients, prepared with love and simplicity; I could probably eat here every day and never tire of it. The staff is lovely and we are so grateful to be able to visit so often. ❤️

We'd driven by at least 40 times but always managed to miss when they were open. Boy, were we missing out. Tried the Carne Asado Tacos and the Tamales and both were excellent. Lots of flavor and generous portions. Reasonably priced considering the quantity and quality of the meal. It's a small rustic place with lots of character, but the food is great and we'll go back.

Best Mexican food I’ve tried around here. It’s colorful and flavors are unique and super authentic. It’s definitely worth the money, I will make it out here more often now that I know it exists!

I've only been here for breakfast/brunch but the food is amazing! Twists on classic Mexican dishes and really good hot sauces! They also have a variety of espresso options!You walk up and order at the desk and then they'll bring you your food, there are indoor and outdoor seating options. The indoor fills up quickly in the fall/winter.
