Update: Hello owner, I have sent you two emails as you indicated, but I’ve not heard back from you nor have I seen the reimbursement for the drinks that day. Initial post: The environment, drinks, and food are lovely. My first time since I’ve heard family members rave about this place. Turns out we had a very unpleasant experience with one of the service people. Clare was absolutely lovely, appreciative, and service-oriented. The barista was abrupt, negative in tone, and seemed to be put out by our request for stir sticks and other items. I left feeling sorry for her that she seems so unhappy in her job in such a beautiful setting.

My husband and I discovered this place yesterday and loved it! The employees weren’t all that friendly and seemed on edge but that was overlooked by the delicious food and coffee. We went back today and the service was even worse. Extremely unfriendly and our presence there seemed to make them even more irritated. Our drinks were slammed down on the counter! We were not provided straws for an of our iced drinks but we were afraid to ask because of the moods of the baristas. We would love to go back but are reluctant to do so.

I loved the grilled oysters from the Persimmon BBQ during Sunday at the Sanctuary. All 3 options for sauce were delicious, especially the rhubarb! Wonderful service and very friendly staff. Can’t wait to try more, especially at the bistro portion.

A beautiful, peaceful cafe with super friendly and attentive staff. The chai tea is delicious and the both of the toast options were perfect. Will definitely be creating a self-care day that includes some movement, meditation and a meal. Cannot recommend it enough.
