My cousin took me here for lunch before I had to leave to the airport. The location is beautiful and I loved the Japanese garden in the back. The staff behind the counter were really nice and helpful. We ordered our food at the counter and then got a seat. To drink I got the pearls of jasmine tea and to eat I ordered the Blanchard rice bowl with chicken. My tea was really good, it had a nice smokey flavor with floral undertones. Terrific tea, I tried to chug it all before we had to leave so I didn't miss my flight. The rice bowl had a lot of different toppings and textures, everything was super fresh. The rice on the bottom was a little odd though, as it was soggy. It was described on the menu as coconut sticky rice, but it seemed more soggy and wet than sticky. Other than the rice the dish was very tasty. We had a nice quick lunch here.

I’ve loved the food and service at Evolve, and it led me to check out Persimmon. Excellent food (Vg & GF!), great service, and a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. Perfect!

I loved the grilled oysters from the Persimmon BBQ during Sunday at the Sanctuary. All 3 options for sauce were delicious, especially the rhubarb! Wonderful service and very friendly staff. Can’t wait to try more, especially at the bistro portion.

A beautiful, peaceful cafe with super friendly and attentive staff. The chai tea is delicious and the both of the toast options were perfect. Will definitely be creating a self-care day that includes some movement, meditation and a meal. Cannot recommend it enough.

Just had a coffee. Lovely setting, attentive staff. Good coffee, traditional sized (if you like a giant Starbucks coffee, this might not be for you) enjoy the Japanese garden.

What an absolutely pleasurable experience.Located with the decades old Japanese Garden, this restaurant's ambience instantly puts you at peace. The food is fresh, mostly local and very well prepared. I am an active carnivore, yet I found the Roots Burrito to be very satisfying and full of flavor. Plenty of off highway parking. Friendly, efficient service.I cannot think of anything I would change.I will be returning.
