We love this place. The oyster is very fresh and delicious. The farm is right next to the beach and has a lot of outdoor seating. It was very relaxing to be able to watch the beautiful ocean while having the meal.
They don't have reservations, and the line will be long on weekend. The line moves pretty fast, but we recommend going early because sometimes food would be sold out early if there are a lot of customers.
Tones of 'street' parking are available right next to the railway.

Signs all said open, everything was set up for service, and there was a big group of staff sitting outside by the entrance. I went to both the inside and outside counter to order and nobody came to assist, despite being right in front of the staff. I finally decided to ask if they were open before leaving and they all ignored me while looking straight at me. Finally one shook their head no. Really disappointing because I'd heard good things but service matters and will not go back. Hama Hama it is!

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE LEAVING THE CASHIER. I clearly asked for 2 of each of three types of oysters, starting with "I'd like a half dozen oysters". But we were served three of each, as the receipt showed when I pulled it out. $12 higher total: $10 of oysters and 20% tip. I could have gone back to the cashier, straightened it out, waited for the server to fix it, but we had already been waiting more than an hour through the line and for our food. BTW, don't believe Google's estimates of waiting times, double them. Oysters were good, location on the water is nice, but the premium prices, the trick with the order, and the long wait means we won't be back.

Super beautiful spot for a post hike beer and fresh oysters! The baked oysters are incredible and we loved sitting by the fire. The whiskey slushies were also a 10/10. Great views, great vibes, and great food!

If you find yourself on the Chuckanut Drive south of Bellingham, this is the only place to stop for oysters, great seafood, awesome wine and beer selections, and the most spectacular vistas of the San Juan islands.

Spectacularly tasty fresh oysters at the water front with a glass of white wine. Life doesn't get any better than this.

Taylor Shellfish Farms, where the oysters are fresh, the views are breathtaking, and the prices make you feel like you’re paying for a personal performance from the Little Mermaid herself. You can’t beat the atmosphere, though. Sitting on the deck, eating oysters with the bay stretching out before you, beer in hand—it’s the kind of setting that makes you forget, for a moment, that you’re being charged like you’re dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
But let’s get real. It’s self-service to the extreme. Grab your own water, cutlery, and bowl.. And then, the kicker—they want a tip. For what? For handing you the tray and smiling politely? I’d tip the view before tipping for service that’s basically non-existent. A tip jar for the ocean, perhaps.
The “Shucker’s Dozen” was good, yes, but it’s what you’d expect at a place like this. You’d think being on the farm itself would cut out the middleman prices, but instead, you’re left wondering if you’re paying extra for the oysters’ proximity to their birthplace. As for the shrimp—de-veining would’ve been nice. A bit of Cajun seasoning and cocktail sauce doesn’t really make up for that ‘crunch’ you weren’t expecting.
The “Grilled Oysters” with Korean BBQ sauce—sounds like a promising fusion, right? But in reality, it was more like the oysters got lost at sea and what arrived was a boatload of sauce with a side of disappointment. The sauce was slathered on thick, drowning out any hint of that briny, ocean-kissed flavor that makes oysters, well, oysters.
So, you’re not here for the food, really. You’re here for the experience—the smell of the salt air, the sound of seagulls, the sun dipping down over the bay. On a sunny day, it’s hard to beat. But for what you’re paying, it’s more about soaking up the ambiance than the seafood.
Final verdict: Go for the view, tolerate the prices, and maybe leave the tipping to Mother Nature. 3 out of 5 stars. Spent 110 USD for 6 shrimps, Shuckers dozen and grilled oysters.

Today I finally went to Oyster Dome Bay and checked out the seafood farm here. After three years in Seattle, I finally pulled out the grass. Although it is a farm, the price is not cheap, but it is very fresh.
Oyster platter - Choose from six types of Atlantic oysters. We only have two of each type. The one we dislike the most is the Olympia. It is too small, not fresh and tastes good. The Kumamoto oyster is good. The fats are also good, but the meat head is very good.
grilled oyster - 15 dollars, really good grilled in the United States. Pacific oysters are big, so they are suitable for grilling. They are very tender, but the Korean barbecue sauce is a bit inferior. Oil, garlic, green onion, ginger, Thai style or black bean would be better.
geoduck crudo - 12 dollars per plate, just one geoduck. The plate is beautiful and comes with turmeric and ginger. The taste is unparalleled. The fried chicken is fresh and tender.
rotating fish - This is a general biscuit with some smoked fish and pickled vegetables. Although it is quite delicious, I don't think it is worth the money.

Beautiful grounds! Boozy slushies and rose were perfect with fresh oysters for a sunny day picnic by the water. We got a show of the paragliders from the mountain above, too!

I had a shucker's dozen oysters with a beer. Compared to what I'm used to they were small and expensive and very delicious. The place was very low-key. I came on a rainy day which seemed to keep the crowds away. I would definitely recommend it and I will do it again. I really want to try their Dungeness crab.
