Food looked delicious in the cabinet but after being confronted by a rude person at the counter we promptly left. I’m in customer service myself and was genuinely gobsmacked at the dismissive and passive aggressive behaviour. We will be back again because we like to support small businesses , but some attitude adjustments might be needed for front of house.

We had one of the best French toast in the world, lol. Seriously good. However, their Shakshuka (of version of..) is one of the worst. Also, they advertised the meat differently, and it was ground lamb instead of chunks. Also, the potatoes in this plate were not evenly cooked, some were raw, and others burned ??. Anyway, the service was nice and friendly, the place is cute and I would like to go back and give them another try, since they're local and seasonal ?.
Parking: This is a small town. Sundays are busy, and the street gets full quickly, but the far you ho from the restaurant street, the easy is to find parking and you get to walk and enjoy this beautiful town.

We want to ordered Porchetta sandwich, but they sold out. We ordered fried chicken dish. It came with two legs, it was okay. It was not as crispy and more seasoned would have been better. There is hot sauce you can added if you don’t like Ranch. For the price, may be quarter chicken with thigh and leg might be better. If you don’t want to use breast. Potato salad was good but it is a side dish. Peach coffee cake was more like pudding cake, not coffee cake that I expected, they could have added more peaches . The peanut butter tahini was good and I don’t even like peanut butter. My friends ordered soba noodle, I had a bit. It was better than fried chicken order. It comes with steak tofu. Another order was Caesar salad which I didn’t tried but it was huge portion. Your ordered at the counter, they bring food to your house table. There is station for us to put away dishes. Also there is a water station. The restaurant decor is comfortable. There are seatings inside and outside. Cash or Venmo only.

Clash of The Titans! Aka: sweet and savory, you do not have to choose one or the other. I had the French toast offered on a Sunday, the strawberries were unquestionably fresh, the toast was out of the oven, earthy and delicious. As I dug deeper in to the edges and reached the cream and Crushed pistachios, I had to slow down, the flavors were actually intellectual and absolutely on point. The portions are incredibly generous, the service is more than great. Maisie stopped by to say hello, pick up plates and greet my two Aussies, she was genuine and added to the great vibe of Tweets. Anyone that stopped by the table was extremely pleasant. You will wait in line, absolutely worth the experience to eat at my now favorite place in the Skagit County area. This hidden gem is very worthy of your patronage. Indoor and outdoor seating available, dog friendly outside with a choice of sitting on the deck or the lush landscape around their property. I can’t wait to go back.

Tweets is located on an S bend thoroughfare in the tiny town of Edison - you’ll see cyclists and motorists touring Skagit County while you enjoy your amazing meal in their outdoor patio or garden.
The food manages to always be fresh and in season no matter the time of year you visit. It’s rustic and elevated, even served in a cardboard takeout box. Most recently we tried the smoked salmon on toast points with a bright vinaigrette, rustic torta (meats and veggies stacked then baked in a savory puff pastry), and the cherry pie. Be forewarned that the serving sizes are inconsistent - the salmon dish and salads are probably considered single serving while the rustic torta and porchetta sandwich can be shared.
Not sure what the fuss over bad service is about - we’ve had stellar service every visit and hey, everyone has a bad day once in awhile.
Parking: No dedicated parking lot - street parking along the road or in the neighborhood. Locals are very tolerant, but be sure not to block anyone’s driveway.
Kid-friendliness: Mostly outdoor patio dining with lots of kids and dogs afoot.

Important things to know: Food is excellent with very generous portions AND that includes desserts. We had pork sandwiches and cherry pie. The sandwiches were terrific, but coupled with the pie, too much for one meal. The sandwiches made a great dinner, too! I don't generally like cherry pie, but this was excellent. More pie, less sandwich next time!! Also, they are cash only.
