Pizza is legit. Best in kitsap when it is good. Service is not great. Will place an order an hr in advance. Show up at the sceduled time to employes standing around talking to each other and still have to wait 10 min to recive order.

I didn’t give a perfect note because they lack diversity options of meat and the mislabeled sausages as traditional merguez then never corrected their mistake even though they promised they would.

I’ve given the food five stars but that’s because the pizza is so good! The focaccia I had though was not focaccia. It was crumbly and dry, the oil and vinegar mix made it hard for the vinegar to cling to the bread. Every thing else was fantastic, as in pizza and wine selection.

2025 update on the below 2023 review: they've got their stuff figured out! Our experiences have been reliably great since I wrote below, and they've clearly worked out a couple growing pains. We often bring out-of-town friends here for a treat and they always love it, too. We <3 Evergreen and are so glad they've stuck around.

My experiences at Evergreen have been mixed, but I keep coming back so I guess that says something. I really want this place to succeed, so I keep coming back hoping they've gotten down a rhythm. I've gotten half a dozen or so pizzas, several orders of meatballs, salads, and a few pasta dishes over the last year and a half. 50% of the time I've been wowed, and 50% of the time I leave thinking this place is over-hyped and over-priced... usually because my pizza came out half-burnt (like, one half of the pizza is perfect, and the other half is almost totally blackened- clearly not a cook's preference and just a lack of attention). Sometimes it's because the pasta is over-cooked. I love the simple ingredients and topping choices, their emphasis on sourcing locally, the staff's enthusiasm and the fact that they're clearly treated well by the owners. I just wish the food was more consistent- especially when it's *so good* when it's good. I guess the meatballs have never disappointed me.

I really wanted to like this place, but found myself deeply disappointed.

Food: The crust was chewy and burnt. The spicy meatball pizza was bland. The carbonara pizza tasted more like breakfast pizza and less like carbonara. The drinks were good.

Service: It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and an hour for our food. This was on a Sunday afternoon in a mostly empty restaurant. The waitstaff were kind and apologetic for the wait.

Atmosphere: There were ants even through we ate inside. The bathroom was dirty.

It was a cute building in a great location, but it feels like that’s more of the focus here than the food.

we sat on the patio, which was a very cute and clean little outdoor area. server was prompt and friendly. price, less than $40 for an appetizer of cheesy bread and a pizza we shared between two and was plenty filling for us. and the pizza itself, spicy meatball, was absolutely yummy. we'll be back for another date night!

This place is amazing.

FYI — business hours on Google are inaccurate. I don’t normally leave negative reviews but I called to make a reservation (outside of business hours, unbeknownst to me) and the woman on the phone was very rude about the issue.

When you first pull up, it's got a great vibe. It's set in a residential building area and right next to a beautiful park. As soon as you go in, you're hit with a fun energy vibe. The place is very clean and well laid out

Beautiful outdoor patio surrounded by trees and well kept bushes.

Food is top notch. Had the pepperoni pizza. It wasn't greasy and the crust was the perfect amount of flavor, not to sweet, not too plain. The brussel sprouts were amazing. The smell of woodsmoke added to a great atmosphere.

Kid and adult friendly, and vegetarian as well. Highly recommend as a family gathering or a nice date night.

This is the best pizza I’ve had since moving to the area. The first time I had it we did carry-out, and it was really good. However, dining in, and having it right out of the oven was on another level. The atmosphere inside is great too; the decor reminds me of a posh treehouse. Great food, great drinks, great dessert, and great service!

I came into pick up an order and asked about it to THREE different employees and got NO response. Then I overheard one of the girls tell someone the name of the order and they made some slick comment then laughed. Then once I got the order the girl barely said two words. The staff needs to do better with take out orders and how they communicate with customers picking up orders.

Got a to go pizza, the honey baby, and it was pretty soggy. It tasted good and wasn't raw just really wet and floppy. House made focaccia was very dry and bland.
