We sat at the bar and had fun watching everyone game. The shop above is extraordinary.The food was meh. Our mozzarella sticks arrived cold, and my sweet chili wings had no spice to them for my liking. That being said, the atmosphere is wonderful, the bartender was great, the drinks were great. Not worth the $81+ we spent in one sense, but the experience far exceeded what it was worth.

It seems like an awesome place but my experience was awful. I ordered a drink and a pizza. I got my drink but never got my food. I waited patiently for more than an hour while the bartender ignored me. When I finally got her attention I asked for another drink and she told me she had to serve the new customers first before she could get to me. I never get angry and walk out of a restaurant but that was the final straw. I waited for more than hour after ordering and got one drink and never got my food. Train your staff!

WOW, this place is a hidden gem! We went into the game store above and discovered the tavern below. The rooms you can pay to rent but otherwise the open tables and game shelves are all ages and free to play! The bread sticks and drinks were excellent!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome! Such a cool place. Stopped in not knowing it was part of an amazing game store. Just saw the name Helm's Deep Tavern and had to try it. Wasn't disappointed. Great selection of free games to play. Good food selection, beer, cider, and even cocktails. Staff super friendly and helpful. Look forward to coming back regularly.
