Checked out Gamer’s Keep Tavern with a few friends and honestly had a blast. The whole place has a fun, laid-back vibe where you can grab good food, play some games, and just hang out for hours. Gamer's Keep Tavern offers a unique experience, combining a game store above with a tavern below. The atmosphere is wonderful, featuring a fun bar with interesting drinks like "health potion," "cactus juice," and "eye of the beholder." While the food is just average, with some dishes arriving cold or lacking flavor, the Buffalo chicken dip alongside pretzels is a favorite among visitors. The open tables and game shelves are free to play for all ages, making it a great spot to let your nerd side loose. There is a wide selection of board, card, and video games, as well as a huge comic book collection to explore. The tavern is kid-friendly, but downstairs is a 21+ bar with great tap options and plenty of tables for playing games. Guests can even rent soundproof rooms for private hangouts, perfect for a DND session or other activities. Overall, the experience exceeds its value, making it a hidden gem worth visiting.
