Low key this is the best Indian food in Kitsap. I worked at an Indian restaurant in DC that was featured on the food network. so I'm not Indian but I have extremely high standards. And I love this place so much. Plus my neighbor, the actual Jimmy D (who is retired and sold the diner to an Indian chef) lives next door to me and always brings me Christmas gifts or lets me borrow his ladder. He's a sweetie pie and you should support sweetie pies.

The service was very slow. The food was bland and the portions were small. On top of that I checked my banking statement this morning and they charged my card $100 when my bill was $60.

I ordered a French Dip. It came out cold, with some kind of jelly oozing out of the grey colored meat. They took it back, scraped the jelly off, microwaved it, and brought it back with a side of cold French fries.
This place is disgustingly and stunningly bad.

At one time I drove 2000 miles and had the best breakfast of my trip here.
Guess a turn in management really has a bad effect.
Arrived after another road trip and ordered my normal breakfast.
Meat was over cooked, gravy was way overboard with pepper, sourdough toast was just warmed and buttered, eggs had a film. Table was sticky and I had to explain to staff why I wanted it cleaned, staff was 1 person running between bar and resteraunt. More emphasis on the early morning drinkers. I used to sing their praise. Not anymore avoid this resteraunt
Quaint, neighborhood Cafe and Bar. Friendly people. Good service. DELICIOUS food. They have a full authentic Indian food menu ( I had Chicken Tikka Marsala ! Yum!) and full American fare menu , as well as breakfast served all day. Went to eat and sing karoake with the fabulous KJ Daisy on Friday. Will definitely be going back.

When we arrived our table was dirty, despite there not being nearly anyone in the restaurant (there were 2guys having coffee) and there were black sugar ants ? crawling around the windows and edge of the booth. Despite this I ordered the half pound burger steak and my boyfriend ordered the brisket plate. When we got our order the “brisket” (I’m not sure this was brisket? It looked like deep fried beef jerky) and “thick cut fries” (you mean frozen fries from a bag?) arrived you should have seen our faces of disbelief The “brisket” looked old, deep fried and covered in grease (not fat from the brisket itself but fry oil from the fryer.) My plate wasn’t any better. Apparently a half pound burger steak isn’t a burger ? like we know it, but it sure as heck isn’t a steak either. I received a dry hamburger patty with sautéed mushrooms on it. Broccoli that looked like the stems on the bottom were old and had black around the edges and a baked potato with cheese on it. ??Don’t waste your time or money, I wish I would have taken a picture of my food but I was still in shock ? over what my boyfriend was served. This place apparently was well known for good steaks and ribs at one point but now that it’s under new ownership they’ve added Indian food to the menu… something has got to give at that point. Apparently it was the steaks and ribs they used to be known for. We visited on 9-1-2024 and will never be back. 0 out of 10, do not recommend.
