Food is simply amazing. Always reliable. Been there 5+ times. Everything is good. Worth the wait (one cook). They are usually tired at the end of the night, so be kind and go on the early side. It’s the same lady cooking everything and she’s there all day.Seating is at the back of the store. Store attendant is very kind. The tables weren’t wiped for a while last time I was there as they are understaffed. They have take out if you don’t wanna dine in.

The food is great above all else the women in the back do very well! The service in the front not so much. I called in to make an Order the young guy at the front was rude on the phone started calling me bro and would not take the order. I drove 1 hour to burien so wanted to pick up and go not wait an extra 30 minutes.

Best injera I’ve had in the Seattle area! The veggie platter was enough for two.

I come here every few months and get the chikena tibs. It’s always so good and with so much flavor. They make it very fresh, and the meat is always so tender. Plus they give you a huge portion that can easily last several meals so it’s well worth the price.

We have been going to this place for years to get injera and some take out Tips mostly but now they getting expensive! I don't mind paying more to get good service but last week they charged me about $45 for two orders but they reduce by 1/2 amount meat they put in our order and put 1 injera only. It's ridiculous and our Derek Tibs was not Derek. It was like normal tibs.We will not go there anymore.

Best bang for buck. Almost impossible to find an inexpensive place to eat in Seattle!Enough food to feed 4 hungry people. We ordered the veggie combo $19 and the lamb $24. The food was delicious ?. In the veggie combo there wasn’t my favorites dish, atakilt wat, the cabbage carrot dish but the other sides made up for it! The lamb was juicy and plentiful.Unfortunately out of sambusa :(We went at 5 pm on our way back home from a road trip and stopped here. Food took long, I’m thinking because we were there to eat at an odd time. Worth the wait.Service is smiling and friendly. You could browse the store in the meantime. Saw some good olive oil from Palestine that caught my eye. It’s a homey restaurant. Music was a little loud with a bass that you can ask to turn down. One restroom that wasn’t exactly clean and could do with a quick clean.Vegetarian options: Flavor veggy combo hits the spot. Lots of lentils, collards.Parking: Just a few spots open.

Don't let the atmosphere dissuade you. I almost did, and that would have been a HUGE mistake. The restaurant section is inside the market on the far right. It's a modest, but clean space. The food though is anything but modest. The dishes, while being wholly new to me, felt like comfort food. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb tibs and a mix of vegetarian selections, all served on delightfully sour, Ethiopian bread. The thing I recommend most though, is the Ethiopian coffee. That was, hands down, the most fantastic coffee experience I've had. Strong, with no bitterness, and an intense clove taste. The service was impeccable, friendly, and helpful.

The food is a hard five stars. Really, really tasty stuff here, prepared with heart. And get the coffee, it doesn't get any better than this!Service was polite and friendly and understood our purpose of experiencing Ethiopian cuisine to make food recommendations for different flavors. All smiles. It's a few tables in a market, not at all fancy. So glad to be here, and really... Get. The. Coffee.
