Love this place... cozy, excellent service, tasty menu. Premixed cocktails (not really my thing) are remarkably good.

Hidden gem in Burien! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t be fooled- inside it is a warm cozy restaurant with a great food! We had the Wednesday night special- Prime rib cooked to perfection! We sat by the fire and our server was friendly and attentive. Get the baked potato - it’s awesome too! Forgot to snap a photo before we dug in so it doesn’t do this meal justice. The portion was huge enough for us to split it. Highly recommend!

In the city of Seattle, where surly bartenders are the norm, this place has been a breath of fresh air. I also love that it feels like my granddad's eclectic cabin and serves the hearty food that my grandma made. It reminds me of home, but better because they have espresso martinis on tap. Special shout out to our server, Ariel!

New Jen's service was a ten!
The dinner was fabulous! The homemade Thousand Island dressing is the best I've ever had. Love this place.

I hate, hate giving bad reviews but honestly, we were not given a chance.
We are usuals and go there quite often, twice or three times a month as this is our preferred place for a date night( for the last year since, we are new to the area) . Food and cocktail were great.
So to come to the reason why the 1 star review.
We were meeting with friends who made a reservation for 5:45pm on a Sunday night.
We got there on time for but host took like 5-7 mins to help as there were people in front us. So time came and we were told there weren’t enough waiters/waitresses
to serve and got to wait… we are all nice and accommodating people we offered to step aside to all the came after us while we wait…. Come to our surprise that the couple behind us got seated to a table of 6 ( hind side we were 5 people).
CAUSE THEY GOT TO THEIR RESERVATION 10 minutes earlier and we were ON TIME!!!!!!!
In what world did we get bumped to being on time, to someone being early?!?!?!?!
Manager was unhelpful and he kept saying he was trying to help but there was no solution other than apology! I mean, he knew host made a mistake but come on, apologize instead of giving us the run around. It is the decent thing to do.
Guess it should be noted to the reservation to BE on time does not guarantee a table, being early does.
So, so disappointed!
We, me and husband won’t go back for sure!

Fireside is great. I came here shortly after opening, and again the other day, and I'm so glad they have sustained success.
The food is unique and they have great flavor combinations.
The atmosphere is very homey and cozy. It is mostly warm lighting, with gentle candlelight throughout. Very classy feeling.
However ..
The chefs need to pace themselves.
I can guarantee 100% of people would rather you take extra time to cook and prepare properly, and wait a little longer for the great food I know you can put out. There is absolutely no reason why a $35 steak was rushed out, undercooked, but burnt. Burnt, not charred. It may be beneficial for your menu to state that steaks might take a bit longer to insure quality.
Our server was a joy, and very kind and understanding about our request for a different plate altogether.
Parking: Parking lot behind gyro place is public
Kid-friendliness: While children are allowed here, I would say it is mostly an adult restaurant.

This place has a decent variety of food options, though the menu isn’t its main strength. The real standout is the drinks and cocktail selection. I’ve personally tried the Prime Rib Melt, Smashburger, Wings, and Artichoke Spinach Dip Au Gratin. While the food was good—not amazing—the Smashburger was my favorite, with the Artichoke Dip coming in close behind. Despite the food being just okay, the drinks were excellent, with several memorable specialty cocktails. It’s worth a visit to check out the drink offerings, and I’ll definitely be back to review their brunch!

If you're a vegetarian going for brunch, you'll leave hungry. Eggs and carbs are your only choice. But the staff was great and the atmosphere fun. I'd just love to see some vegetables in the menu!

This space used to be a southwestern punk dive bar. It's now a beautiful lounge and restaurant.
