We came for dinner with our son and his girlfriend and had excellent service! The staff was very attentive but not overly so, much appreciated. We enjoyed all the food we had, I had the lobster ravioli, my husband the gnocchi. Next time I'll try the tagliatelle ala bolognese, a taste was not enough. I wish I could remember the lovely wine we had as I would try to find it in Montana!
We stopped by for a quick, late dinner as we just got back from Japan and did not feel like cooking. Shane, our waiter, was most courteous and professional, taking good care of us. Owner Michele stopped by to say hello but his wife Jeanette was away tonight. We had a nice caprese salad with sweet heirloom tomatoes, hand made ravioli with beef back ribs and the best alle vongole! Many good size fresh clams in my vongole and the linguine was totally al dente ! We hope to return for a more special dinner when we have more time and not jet lagged. Congrats to Michele and Jeanette for being here for 3.5 years!
We drove nearly an hour to this restaurant, hoping for an authentic Italian meal on my birthday with family. I saw a sign at the front advising of the 3% credit card fee. Only one waiter working inside and the chef was also working the front and the kitchen. Not an encouraging sign. We ordered a mixed appetizer of cheese and meats and I was shocked to see a huge pretzel bread circling the plate. Never in all my times in Italy have I seen pretzel bread served, especially like this. Maybe the chef was from Trentino- Adige which is more Austrian? At this point, maybe we should have walked out, but my husband doesn't like to make a scene. We never got any Italian bread, so I guess the pretzel bread was it. Pastas ordered were hit or miss. Strange presentation of the special short rib ravioli with 3 beef ribs on top and the sauce wasn't great. We were verbally told what our bill was, and I am honestly not sure my husband saw a breakdown of charges. It was extremely expensive overall. I'm not sure if there has been a change of ownership, but I have a feeling things are not going well in general at this restaurant. I'm sorry to say but I won't be back.
Pretty mid, wish the quality and service were more consistent. Gave them a few tries, won’t be back. Hit or miss quality isn’t worth their prices by any means.

I sat alone at the bar and had two glasses of wine 32$, calamari 19$, bread 3$, lasagna 22$. Received my bill… $98. Math doesn’t add up, but I paid and left. Lasagna tasted like the grocery stouffer‘s frozen kind. Calamari was fried well but had no flavor. Not a good experience.

Our favorite restaurant was closed, so we tried a new one. Mistake!
Prices and choices were similar but the seafood in the pasta was cold and pasta lacked flavor. The risotto was not done, was chewy.
Sorry…..we won’t be back.

We ordered Two different pastas and both of us were disappointed. Maybe we have been spoiled by visiting Italy, but there are restaurants with much much better options.
The restaurant is beautiful, the service was good, the chef was attentive to the customers, just one thing that was not right, my dish had too much salt and in the end I could not eat any more.

Well, I dont want to be to harsh on these folks. I may be open to trying to dine there once more in the distant future. My recent experience there just wasnt all that great and it might be a preference issue of my own. I had the carbonara and the meat was so salty that I couldn't even eat much of it. I would eat the smallest piece with a mouthful of pasta and then it was not too bad but still pretty salty. I ordered a Caesar salad without looking at the menu and that was a mistake. It was a grilled Caesar, meaning they charred to halfs of a piece of romain and served it warm. Never had that before and wasn't really a fan. I had some sort of spritz drink that was nice. The atmosphere outside was real nice and an enjoyable way to have a meal in Burien. The waitress was fine. Not bad or good in any way. No complaints there. I think the bill was north of $60 for drink, salad (I guess there's only one size) and a pasta. On the spendy side for Burien in my opinion. Give them a try though if you like those things though. They seem like a net positive to 152nd street.

I just wish they had fettuccine Alfredo or chicken parmesan on the menu. They didn't have any chicken or the dessert I wanted, but I ordered the special rib eye and make potatoes and both delicious and favorable.

I was born in Italy and this place feels like home. Food is delicious. We did a cooking class where I learned the chef’s tricks to make gnocchi. My fav place

I received 1 lobster stuffed ravioli in what was supposed to be a mushroom ravioli special. I understand the mistake of a different ravioli ending up on the plate and I knew exactly what had happened as soon as I bit into it because both were on the menu. However, my husband has a severe shellfish allergy and we both ordered this dish. If my husband were given this specific plate instead of me, he would have ended up in the hospital. My problem with all of this is mostly how the entire situation was handled. The manager came out and didn't say sorry, said oh it just jumped into the wrong plate, and didn't offer to comp my meal. Then, our waitress pretty much avoided us and when I told her the same thing, she didn't apologize, she just said she checked with the kitchen and the wrong ravioli ended up on the plate and also didn't offer to comp the plate or get me a new meal. The raviolis were clearly different colors and had different ridges, probably so you are able to tell them apart, so clearly no one did a basic quality check.
Besides this, we didn't get fresh water after we asked for a long time and we weren't attended for a long time after we got our food even though we needed a few things.
We will NOT be going back and are thankful that we aren't staying the night in the hospital.
