The sandwiches are excellent here about 50% of the time and the folks working the counter often act like they’re doing people a favor making them $22 sandwiches. I want to love this place, but curb my enthusiasm, expect mediocre, and allow myself to be pleasantly surprised on the stops that are worth the $$.
I usually find Grand Central to be a solid lunch spot. Today I paid $25 for a sandwich and an iced tea (what?!?). When my sandwich came out, the bread was so hard I could barely eat it. My friend’s food never came out, she had to go hunt it down. Do better Grand Central!
i’ve known about this spot for years but always procrastinated coming and i wish i didn’t because it’s soooo good. loved the environment inside with friendly staff. definitely coming here more often.
