“Tepic was very welcoming and we didn’t wait long on a Friday night to get seated. Staff was very friendly and gave us a show with our food. I ordered the special margarita: Blood orange margarita. By far in my my top 5 of best tasting margaritas I’ve experienced. The food was delicious and hot .. obviously. We loved the 3 meat fajitas with veggies .“

From the moment we rolled in as a spontaneous large motorcycle group, we were met with true Southern hospitality. The owners were incredibly accommodating, welcoming us with open arms despite our unannounced arrival — and even took the time to personally thank us for choosing their spot out of all the options along our ride. The atmosphere here is fantastic — relaxed, unique, and full of personality. One standout feature is their condiment bar, which lets you customize your BBQ experience with a variety of mouthwatering sauces and toppings. And yes, the complimentary peanuts? Feel free to chuck the shells right on the floor — it adds to the laid-back, rustic charm. As for the food, it absolutely delivers. Whether you’re gluten-free or just love BBQ, there’s something for everyone. If you’re like me and can’t decide what to order, go for the 2-, 3-, or 4-meat combo — perfect for trying a bit of everything, but come hungry or be ready to share! The brisket and ribs were standout favorites. Don’t skip the sides either — the fried okra was crispy and flavorful, and the smoked mac & cheese is comfort food at its finest. “We were in town for a camping trip & found this little gem & decided to stop in. We got some decent deserts! A pecan bar, a lemon bar a gingerbread cookie & a cinnamon roll. Oh boy I can’t tell you what out favorite thing was because they were all so delicious. Try this place out if you are in town.“

“Extremely warm friendly atmosphere, great food, owner is great, Annie and the rest of the wait staff is impeccable! It gets extremely busy at times and they still do a great job. Good cooks. Food is great, burgers, fish and chips, and clam chowder. Yum yum yum!!! Bingo night, line dancing, karaoke, and live music is so fun! They welcome and love to see the kids come in and enjoy themselves as well!“

“One of my favorite places to go. Whether you're from around Mount Vernon or just passing through, if you can make it here, treat yourself. Amazing, delicious, reasonably priced food and quick & friendly service. All the burgers are great. I love the Irish cream milkshake.

“I love The Rex! Wes and crew are super friendly, hospitable, whatever word you wanna use! The location is a perfect pit stop for your motorcycle ride, or just a great place to hang out in scenic western Skagit County. The food is great by the way 😏“

“There isn't much to say. They have the best people, prompt and tentative service, great food, and beers and drinks on tap to satisfy any discerning beer lover. And if you don't like beer they have ciders, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages too. For vegetarians, they have veggie options and accommodate dieteray restrictions. Their patio is dog friendly.“
