If you're vegetarian, know that their beans are cooked in lard and their rice is cooked in chicken broth (the staff readily admit to both, fortunately). That leaves you choosing between a quesadilla appetizer and a build-your-own tostada.

The service was very bad. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and the shrimp looked like they had been left raw the night before. I talked to the waitress and she brought another lady of legal age and she told me that the cocktails were like that and I told her that. I wanted them well sewn and she responded that if they ate them more they would get hard and you couldn't eat good things so I wouldn't follow him anymore so I left the things and didn't get any more. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE PERSONALLY....
This is the best Mexican food I've had in a very long time. We each had something different, and each of us 4 raved about the quality. The poblano relleno, camrones creama, mole enchilada, and a combo plate. We barely had any left overs, we definitely couldn't stop when full. It was too good. I can't wait to come back. The Spanish rice was amazing!
Parking: There's no street parking on the main Street. Fortunately there's free parking around the block and across the street
Kid-friendliness: There's a changing table in the bathroom. Very convenient.

After golfing stopped by for lunch and had a great lunch. They have mini meals with smaller mains which is great for me. I don't eat as much as I used to. My daughter had a flour tortilla with steak she loved. The guacamole was very good. Our meals came with enough sour cream and guacamole to have some with each bite. My husband wasn't in food mood. He ordered a chocolate milkshake. He's very picky about milkshakes and said this was excellent.

Late Saturday lunch. Overall great. I got a crunchy taco with shredded beef. Very good. The shell got soggy but they gave me a new one. My daughter got a huge good salad that she really liked. Churros were really good. We recommended Ixtapa!

Idk where to start I hate writing bad reviews...The chips were like warmed store bought chipsTook 20mins to get our waterTook 40 mins to get our food my no name was burnt with loads of sour cream and little dallop of guacBFs steak fajitas were tough came on a sizzling plate but cold and oddly tasted sweet and had a weird tang taste. Peppers were halfway cut and barely fried like half a pepper ripped through but not totally so it was still half a pepper. His sides that came with it were cold, lettuce shreds looked like it had sat out on the counter for hours, the condiment sides were just thrown on a random plate nothing of his platters were matching like they usually are and again half the tiny plate was sour cream with a tiny bit of pica and a tiny bit of guac for 25.99! Took another 30 mins to get our check. The worst part was he woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning (probably the weird tang steak they were trying to cover with loads of sauce) Carnation local grew up here and unfortunately will never eat here again..

Really embarrassed about lunch today. The taco meat was really salty. I told the server. One person got a shredded meat replacement. Two already lost their appetite. No offer to adjust the bill.
