“My girlfriend and I stopped by there and it was one of the best choices we made on our trip. The owner was so incredibly nice and friendly, and the coffee was super good! “Not sure why it was more expensive than other places. I always get the same thing wherever I go. Large latte, hot, extra sweet. It was scalding and not very sweet. I got the standard two shots and it was almost $7. The server was nice and service was quick. It would be nice if places that use sugar packets had a guideline of sweetness. Obviously it's a personal preference but there's a range. If you're charging that much for a coffee I think standard supplies would be a liquid non flavored sugar.”

“This is a good spot to get a Subway snack, the local store is inside the IGA.They are restrooms available at the IGA.Generally plenty of parking available.The off-ramp to actually turn in here can be a little complicated and get busy so beware of that.But there is not much around so this is a good spot if you're traveling out here.”

The experience with the new ownership is quite disappointing compared to what Chavo's used to be. Yes, changes can be expected when a business is sold. However, the food and salsas taste much more bland and are now 25% more expensive. Instead of a taqueria vibe, it feels much more like a sit down restaurant. I don't think the name should have transferred with the new ownership because unfortunately, Taqueria El Chavo died when the business sold. Just don't expect the old Chavo's experience when visiting.”

“We arrived about 2:00 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon. A very large party had just left so we had to place pretty much to ourselves. There were four of us with five dogs, and the space was great. Lots of room for everybody and the nice breeze was blowing through. I asked the server for a beer flight of the most popular beers, and he brought six, and I couldn't decide on the best one so I ordered four more! Fish and chips were outstanding, highly recommend this place.”
