Anjou Bakery is a very yummy bakery and cool place to hang out, perfect for a weekend drive or ride. The finest bread in Washington is served, with excellent bread, sandwiches, pastries, and cookies plus a variety of unique gourmet gifts. The ham and butter baguette is a go-to, and the Marionberry pie is a personal obsession—the crust is the star, a shortbread crust. Everything is delicious, though they do sell out. The baguette is ok, but don’t get it at the end of the day. High quality food made with love, with a fantastic atmosphere and a great vibe. The team is friendly. The only negative is turning left on the 2 if heading west. Bathrooms are portable toilets in the parking lot, but are actually really clean. They are only open Friday through Sunday 8 AM through 3 PM. This place is definitely worth the stop on your drive to or from Wenatchee.
