“We popped in on a whim after seeing all the great reviews and wanted to see if it was actually as good as everyone said. We came all the way from Vancouver, Canada, and wow—was it ever worth it!

From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our server, Molly, was absolutely amazing—so warm, attentive, and genuinely made our experience even better.

And the food… WOW. Truly show-stopping. Every dish was bursting with flavour and exceeded our expectations. It was soooo good!

We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend!

“I have visited Los Altos several times at the Cowlitz County Farmers Market. I'm usually down for any of their burritos (which I HIGHLY recommend), but yesterday, I got a banana leaf tamale, pork and chicken. Coming from a person who is extremely picky about her Mexican food, I can say hands down, those were the BEST tamales I have had in Cowlitz County!! Let's start with the size. They weren't those rinky-dink tamales that you find everywhere. They are HUGE!! I can usually scarf down two tamales at any particular seating, but these...one was plenty! Two tamales, two meals!! The tamale itself was so moist and flavorful, with just the perfect amount of heat. Usually you need to sauce up most of the tamales you get around here, but these were perfect on their own... straight out of the banana leaf. Will I keep going back?? Absolutely!! I think I'll be heading down to the restaurant one of these days to check out more menu items. 🤤”

“This is just a friendly little quaint small town Mexican restaurant. Where they remember your name and what you ordered last. The service is quick.and the perople are pleasant. You can order the food to go or sit down and visit a hour or so with some friends. Come to celebrate birthdays or graduation.have a drink on a friday night. Just the type.of place that you would expect a small town to have.”

“This was our first time at Tasty Thai, and I was very impressed. The food we ordered was top-notch, the owner obviously takes pride in her preparation, and I found her service to be friendly. We ordered carry-out, but the dining area is a cute little space. We had the spring and salad rolls as an appetizer, the Pad Thai with chicken, Stir-Fry Thai Ginger, and Red Curry with chicken. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! The portions are generous (we have enough leftovers for another meal), and the prices are very reasonable in my opinion. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Castle Rock bakery makes the best donuts my favorites are the maple bacon and the orange iced donut. They have great customer service and they always make me feel welcome. You should definitely stop by you won’t regret it.”

“This is the best McDonald's I have been to in years! The food was spectacular. The toppings on my 1/4 pounder were centered! All the flavors were distributed equally through the whole sandwich. The fries were hot and crispy, perfectly salted. The staff was friendly! They made eye contact! They treated me like a fellow human. It's difficult to believe that this is the same brand as I am used to in the city. I will have a hard time driving past this McDonald's the next time I am on that part of I5.”

“I'm glad remnants of the old A&W culture are given more than a nod at this location. I found the location convenient, and the parking abundant. Restrooms in the retail store next door were tidy and bright. Employees there were friendly in a polite manner while maintaining efficient service. Shady in particular was clearly keeping things flowing nicely up front. Yes, it took a bit for the food to come but that's because it's not microwaved! Worth the wait IMO. One star off for Atmosphere because the Root Beer tap at the beverage counter is broken! sad bear cub face”

“This place quickly become one of our go-to restaurants! Every dish we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The food leans more on the spicy side (which I love!), but if spice isn’t your thing, they also have plenty of tasty non-spicy options that are just as good.

The service is always excellent the waiter is attentive, kind, and makes sure you’re taken care of without being overbearing. We’ve never left disappointed, and every visit feels like a treat. Honestly, this place is so underrated. If you’re looking for consistently flavorful food and amazing service, you can’t go wrong here.”

“I am attempting to remove all animal products from my diet. This is the place for a really good vegan gyro. I was impressed, it was nummy and I felt full for several hours, good job. Hard to pull off but they did it.”

Very friendly staff rather you speak Spanish or English, they have staff that speak both. Very accommodating, if I could eat there everyday I would!.”

My sister is picky about smoked salmon and wants it like jerky, the man working today (I didn’t catch his name but he was so kind and helpful) went out of his way to take her to the back and find the perfect piece. I got a seafood boil bag and had it tonight and it was delicious! Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone I know!”
