“I have visited Los Altos several times at the Cowlitz County Farmers Market. I'm usually down for any of their burritos (which I HIGHLY recommend), but yesterday, I got a banana leaf tamale, pork and chicken. Coming from a person who is extremely picky about her Mexican food, I can say hands down, those were the BEST tamales I have had in Cowlitz County!! Let's start with the size. They weren't those rinky-dink tamales that you find everywhere. They are HUGE!! I can usually scarf down two tamales at any particular seating, but these...one was plenty! Two tamales, two meals!! The tamale itself was so moist and flavorful, with just the perfect amount of heat. Usually you need to sauce up most of the tamales you get around here, but these were perfect on their own... straight out of the banana leaf. Will I keep going back?? Absolutely!! I think I'll be heading down to the restaurant one of these days to check out more menu items. 🤤”

“Stopped in 3/29 for a birthday lunch with cousins. We live in Rochester WA others there came from Cathlamet Wa area, kind of halfway for us all. There was an open table for 8 waiting for us divine intervention for sure! Jamie was prompt in greeting us and taking our drink orders(btw cold and delicious). After visiting and perusing the really interesting menu she took our food order which arrived not fast but promptly(hey they had to really cook it). Delicious lots of unique items. Want to thank everyone there(especially Jamie) for making my birthday get together a success. We will be back.”

“Nostalgic style pizza from my youth. Thin yet firm crust. Lots of air holes in the crust. It doesn't get soggy. There are tons of toppings. We drove close to 120 miles round trip for this delicious pizza. ( Plus one to go)”

“This was our first time at Tasty Thai, and I was very impressed. The food we ordered was top-notch, the owner obviously takes pride in her preparation, and I found her service to be friendly. We ordered carry-out, but the dining area is a cute little space. We had the spring and salad rolls as an appetizer, the Pad Thai with chicken, Stir-Fry Thai Ginger, and Red Curry with chicken. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! The portions are generous (we have enough leftovers for another meal), and the prices are very reasonable in my opinion. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Everytime I pass through Castle Rock, I have to get coffee from Cowlitz. There's nearly no wait, great prices, and some of the best coffee I've ever had. Kenna always makes amazing drinks, is super personable and friendly, and never fails to leave you with a smile!”

“The girl Taylor who works here and I believe is the manager (if she isn’t, she should be) was one of the most pleasant people I have dealt with in customer service in a very long time. Even with us showing up half hour before close, she was SO kind and made amazing sandwiches. She deserves a raise!”

“Good fast drive thru. Tried the Crispy chicken deluxe today. Not a fan, I did not like the shredded lettuce, the tomatoes were ok, the crispy chicken was a little dry for me. Maybe extra mayo plus a few pickles might help it.”

Huge shoutout to these two folks for working so hard. I know fast food can be tough, especially during lunch hour, especially with only two employees. These guys deserve a raise!

“To address the speed and cost complaints. Yes, it isn't as fast or cheap as some alternatives may be, however if you want to enjoy your food instead of just getting something to put in your stomach, this location has value. It is clear that all the food was made to order, fresh. It has been a long time since I have ordered burgers and actually received something that looked like it came from a commercial. It was well put together and tasted great. The fries and onion rings were great. They didn't taste like old oil and they were clearly cooked at the right temperature as they were not oily. Again, very tasty. And most shockingly, the Pepsi is properly calibrated. Most places don't care enough to check their product settings.
I am a foodie and do not typically rank fast food as it is widely accepted that fast food is more about function than form. But this A&W location stands out. I drive from Oregon to Seattle at least twice a month and I can promise, I will be stopping by here regularly.”

“I am attempting to remove all animal products from my diet. This is the place for a really good vegan gyro. I was impressed, it was nummy and I felt full for several hours, good job. Hard to pull off but they did it.”

“I love this establishment!. I get the chicken nachos, and they are very plentiful. and I always get some tacos lengua with the grilled onions and jalapeño on the side!. Everytime!. Very friendly staff rather you speak Spanish or English, they have staff that speak both. Very accommodating, if I could eat there everyday I would!.”

I was there with a friend this morning and is was perfect 👌 We both had the ceo coffee so perfect and beautiful, we shared the brie appetizer, I had the waffles stack with fruit Bavarian cream filling and raspberry drizzle ( definitely do not need syrup for this), she had the avocado toast 😋 all food items looked beautiful and tasted great! such a great experience, I will definitely be back.”

My sister is picky about smoked salmon and wants it like jerky, the man working today (I didn’t catch his name but he was so kind and helpful) went out of his way to take her to the back and find the perfect piece. I got a seafood boil bag and had it tonight and it was delicious! Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone I know!”
