I wouldn’t say the food is terrible, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had either, it was overpriced for the service and food that we had ordered. I was not impressed and don’t think I would return. If I did. I definitely wouldn’t order the same food and would maybe specify some things differently.
Very nicely decorated restaurant and a lot of historical features, seems a lot of cool drinks - we didn’t try any as we need coffee, coffee was well done and they are not hesitating to just give you a whole pot before you even ask for refill. Salad was okay, nice touch on the turkey ball and cranberries. Potatos and gravy was not very tasty, need some serious seasoning. But our waitress ( sherry or Sheryl) made the whole experience very enjoyable.
Hubby had country fried steak and I had the country special. We both agree it was all bland. His fried steak, gravy, potatoes, even the sausage patty. Waitress Courtney made me feel like we were a bother. Didn’t ask for anything extraordinary. Love the vibe /decor of the place though.
