We loved the cozy bunkbed room with water and coffee provided. The shared bathrooms were clean and not crowded (no wait), the bar was lively and the building connection to the theater was fun and unique! Would come back to stay.
This was a very fun and unique stay! We really loved the location. We always enjoy the McMenamins vibe and love getting our passport stamps! The room was small and didn't have a windows that opened (though we still loved the skylight!) So it was a bit stuffy/warm. We were able to get a small fan from the front desk, which was helpful. The beds were comfy, but the top bunk is high up and we didn't have a ladder! So just be prepared for that. Otherwise it was rad and we...
One of my and my wife's favorite places to drink, eat and stay. PERIOD. From the creeky floors and sounds of the trains, not to mention the top notch beds and the clean shared bathrooms, the place is steeped in history and the service is awesome.
