hands down the best Carne Asada I have ever had. Best black beans too. I dont know how you make black beans as good as they do but god damn its amazing. Go eat there. you wont regret it.
i'm a huge fan of anything with tripe and eat menudo often at home and at restaurants. so naturally i was interested in trying the tripe stew. i was honestly blown away, no exaggeration. this might be my new favorite soup of all time. i love that they are very generous with the amount of tripe where each piece is so thick and fun to sink my teeth into. the pork hock is so yummy too- so soft and chewy and cooked to perfection. the vegetables add an extra richness to the broth...
Great stop to scratch your pupusa itch! I had the pupusa & street taco combo, both with chicken and added the carnalavera upgrade to the pupusa. Combo came with white rice w/ mixed veggies in it and pureed black beans. Horchata was the libation du jour. Less than $20, so quite reasonably priced.
