Joy’s Once Upon a Thyme is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is warm, the staff is welcoming, and the food—most of it—is genuinely fantastic. Their chicken pesto sandwich is a standout: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It’s one of those sandwiches you remember long after you leave.

Let’s start with how beautiful and quaint the place was. From chalkboard menus to decorations it was beautiful! Now the menu.. every item sounded like I wanted to eat. We pick the Caribbean, the Meatloaf and the turkey cranberry. Can’t tell you my favourite as they were all outstanding. Amazing flavor that required careful thought to put together. We will be making this a regular on our trip south and north!
