They have incredible meats, from meat stick snacks to what I think is about the best bacon I’ve ever had — absolutely wonderful stuff. They make excellent sausage, too: their brisket is wonderful. I usually buy 8-10 pounds of bacon from them every chance I get: their jalapeńo bacon is on par with any you’ll ever find... order ahead of time.

I've raised pigs for 12+ years. Used many different processors. I had an emergency kill go to Finn's meats, who uses Uncle Jim's for their ham and bacon smoking. I started to save a belly to take in for bacon after that. This year, we wanted to take in some ground meat leftover in the freezer for some pepperoni. We took in 12.5 pounds of our ground pork, 11.5 pounds of ground beef, 1 pound of ground elk and 3 pounds of bacon that Uncle Jim's had just finished for us. We did mild...read full review
