I was so excited to go to the cider estate, but ultimately was let down. This is my favorite cider company and so my husband and I drove nearly 3 hours to go to the estate. Upon arrival the venue was very nice, cool , farm -esq atmosphere with several outbuildings to house different things; food trucks, a merch building, the taphouse itself, and a cool outdoor event tent. However, when debating what ciders to get with our flight the cashier over heard us and informed us that we could only get the special curated, themed flight; no custom flights. He further added that if they were less busy, on a week day maybe, they could do custom flights. This seemed very strange to me as it seems it takes the same amount of time to pour a flight, no matter the contents. The flights were all sweet ciders which I don't particularly enjoy, so we got pints. In addition, it didn't seem particularly busy either, no other people were in line to order and there were only 2 or 3 groups sitting down. He overall seems very annoyed with us. We won't be returning to the estate location.

You just jumped the shark. A $5 cover on a Sunday afternoon is over the top. I want to support local businesses and musicians but not at lunch. You are expensive already. If you want do covers stick with after 7

Dietary restrictions: Pizza has GF crust as available, and there are a couple other gluten free options but not a lot of selection.

I can't wait for the weather to be nicer so I can recreate this picture. Most of the ciders are pretty good and aren't sickly sweet. Finn River is a great place to bring the family too, especially in the summer. Besides the patio seating, the lawn area has chairs, tables, and even some activities. Having delicious wood fired pizza on site is such a smart move. I make sure when I come the pizza is there too.

Great place to stop for some cider! They have a ton of great cider options ranging from dry to sweet and plenty of flavor variations. There is live music and other events some nights, so be sure to check the schedule. (Sometimes there is a cover charge.) There is food available from Finn River itself or a couple other food vendors (ramen, pizza, oysters, etc.) Check the day to see which of those are open. Plenty of seating, some inside, some outside, plus you can walk around the fields if you want some air. There is a dog friendly section, too. Really nice setup.

They have 2 main buildings where you can sit. When we went they had live music in one of the buildings. They charged a cover fee no matter what building you sat in. Doesn't make sense, basically taking money from us since there wasnt any room in the one building where the band was playing.Great food, great cider although overpriced.

Finn River continues to be one of our family's all-time favorite places to go with friends and kids for a lovely afternoon of tasty food, good music and delicious cider all wrapped up in a stunning countryside setting with orchards, gardens and rolling hills. Sip a cider flight before deciding what to drink. This inclusive space hosts live music and a number of local organic food producers including fresh ramen, artisan ice cream and wood-fired pizza. Organic and gluten free options are available. It is wheelchair accessible, kid friendly, and there is an area for dog owners to dine as well. Dining is in a large covered outdoor building that has gas heaters for winter weather, or out on the patio or lawn on chairs or picnic tables.Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian wood fired pizza with all sorts of seasonal toppings.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options for pizza available.Parking: Large gravel parking lot with ample space for large groups.Kid-friendliness: This is one of our all time favorite places to eat with kids. There's a play area where they can run around within line of site of most dining areas so you can enjoy your food and the view while they get their ya-yas out.Wheelchair accessibility: All wheelchair accessible, gravel parking lot however.

We went to experience BrotherTownsend perform live. The outdoor games for the Littles was perfect. Pizza was delicious, and though packed, we had plenty of room to share a table with others.Parking: Lots of room on this working farm venue.Kid-friendliness: Oversize tractor tires, wooden boat, toss games all inspired for youthful play!

Incredible experience. Truly a hidden gem that we should work to unhide. Basically it's own town with many dining options, an authentic rural atmosphere (it's a working farm) and immaculate design, engineering, and decoration that only comes from people who love what they do. Tons of local artists, wide variety of genres and styles.

This place is fabulous for everyone. If you're an educator, they even appreciate you with a sweet little discount. The wood-fired pizza and a cold cider make for one of my favorite meals here. A friend of ours decided to mix two different ciders, a mix of jalapeno and black current. Our other friend tried the Ramen and said it was pretty good.Parking: I have not had trouble finding parking when we visit.Kid-friendliness: Kids of all ages can have fun here at Finn River. They have some toys and small chairs available.

One of the best places to visit on the peninsula. Great food options (delicious pizzas, oysters) and tons of outdoor space for kids to play around the orchards and gardens. We stop here every time we're out that way!
