I have been coming here for the past 7 years. In fact, originally I found it so magical and special I would say it was heavy in our desire to move here based off places like Finnriver. I always like to bring family and friends here who visit us. Lately, while the setting is still magical, I feel like the staff is less than hospitable or even just basic kindness when interacting with customers. And tips are highly entitled for basically pouring a drink or pushing your food across...
We didn't really go informed. We were expecting a relaxed family experience and not half a dozen food vendors, live music, huge lines for cider. Definitely not what we expected. We walked around the grounds once, then left pretty soon afterwards. People looked like the were having a blast, but it wasn't our vibe for this afternoon.
our airbnb host recommended a stop and what a wonderful place! cider flight was great, oysters were delicious, flower garden was beautiful, and we took some ciders to go. can’t wait to come back
