Spaceship mexican place that we've chuckled at more than a few times, then there's the street taco truck @ Scott Rd. Then.... there's Patron... A family owned, 'come on in and be welcomed like family', kinda place. Authenticity has found a home on S. Whidbey. Burrito Carnitas & Carnitas Patron were the choices off of their vast menu. Bringing back memories of those cobblestone days in Tinacatita, or the oceanside ten days

“I would give over five stars if I could, unfortunately only fully vegan restaurants can get that. I’ve been here over 3 times now and it has been delicious and fresh every time, their kimchi is hands down the best tasting kimchi I have ever had. They have three delicious vegan meat options, coconut chili chicken being my favorite, and a selection of (almost, there is an option for eggs) fully vegan toppings. They also have DELICIOUS vegan shakes that I feel obligated to enjoy each visit. Definitely recommend to all vegans and even non vegans in the area!“

I bought: hamburger buns, hot dog buns, vegan sprouted sandwich bread, several types of sourdough (including organic), and bagels. Less than half the price this same bread is in a grocery store. There are different special deals on different days of the week to save even more.

“The service at Bequest Coffee Co is top notch! food is made in house and super fresh, Coffee is prepared to perfection. They have an amazing outdoor seating area (my fav). Next visit you should try one of their house made flavors in your Coffee and pair that with ANY panini. Small and local business that really care to deliver the best customer service!“

“We visited at the recommendation of our Airbnb host and Langley Kitchen did not disappoint! Absolutely incredible pastries and delicious coffee. We each had the breakfast sandwich with added options and they were wonderful! The brioche bread was melt in your mouth delicious. We also tried their drop donuts - holy moly!!

Super cute little shopping area with local and international delights, clothing souvenirs, syrups, etc.

It was pretty cold when we were there in January and while there were outdoor ceiling heaters and patio heaters we were freezing with the outdoor seating. Would be awesome to have some outdoor wind blocking and maybe some blankets! Definitely not a deal breaker though and look forward to returning!

Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian options, alternative milk options, and I think I saw some GF but can't recall.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and wide enough doorways; might be a bit narrow through the store, but there's also an outside pick-up window with a ramp to the outdoor seating.“

“Friendly and quick service with great tasting cakes. The carrot, lemon, and red velvet are the standard favorites. The seasonal Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate and the Andes Mint flavors are my all time favorites. We get the bundtlets most often but have also enjoyed the bundtinis and the 8" cake.“

“Went there 2 nights this week for dinner. 1st night a few mistakes but good service, tonight same. A few mistakes. I said medium rare but it was burnt dry medium on the steak. Both times had to ask for more sodas also table was still really wet from previous wipe down. Worker was friendly but other workers didn’t seem to care. 1st night items were priced right. Tonight seemed over priced“

“Edit: We came back to Bobs after hearing some things may have changed. We actually had pretty good service and enjoyed our food for the most part. The fries were delicious. My one gripe is my smash burger’s American cheese wasn’t melted. How can you send out a smash burger with unmelted cheese out to your guest?

Good food, horrendous service. Multiple times a waiter came to our table with food that was meant for somebody else. When our food did come, it was ordered incorrectly. I want to come back because we did like the food. I hope the service is better next time.“
