Great place for beer, cider, music and food. A+

They have a large selection of craft beers. From what I tried, the "Meadmosa" and American wheat were good. The porter was also decent. I can't recommend the pilsner, which is normally my favorite type of beer; it tasted like raw barley.

Stopped in with family to try some local beers. Hostess was friendly and helpful with beer selections. Good atmosphere would highly recommend.

$8 beers & no brats or tacos like the website said. Pretty crazy! But not neary as crazy as what they called an ipa. Amber ipa?

We were at Harada for physical therapy next door. They are great!

What a fun spot! Great beers, dog friendly and fantastic service! Johann went above and beyond with all his customers, was very attentive and fun to talk to - we will be back for sure!

The beer here definitely has that hint of old world influence that I really appreciate. Had a chat with the brewer and he is obviously very passionate and knowledgeable about his craft and is more then happy to answer any questions you might have.If you're ever out on the island it's worth grabbing a couple pints or a tasting flight of their selection.

Penn Cove was a great addition to our rainy day on Whidbey. Our beer tender Jules was super friendly and knowledge about the beers they had to offer. They have a great selection ranging from hazy IPAs to heavier stouts and porters, definitely check it out!

We were running errands with our dog when we decided to stop by for lunch. It was right at noon so they were pretty busy with many groups - families, couples, people with dogs, and friend groups. Their team is extremely friendly - they apologized for the long line but we really didn’t mind at all.We sat outside since we had our dog with us. They had a few fires going. They also had a few patio heaters but didn’t have propane tanks - hopefully those will be used for the winter season as sitting outside was nice but chilly! Our drinks and food were delicious. The sausage choices were really good - we tried spicy italian and chicken apple - and the topping options were really fun to try with the different sausage flavors. They have over 15 types of beer to choose from, including seasonal like a pumpkin stout. My husband enjoyed his honeymoon pale ale, and I enjoyed my spoiled dog Pinot Grigio.Thank you Penn Cove brewing for having a wonderful taproom and dog friendly outdoor space!!!

We stopped here the weekend of the Ragnar race. The service was great, the beer was delicious, and the food options were good. I'm leaving four stars, not five, because outside there is a sign that says 'family friendly'. But, there are no changing stations in the restrooms and this made it difficult for us. We probably would have stayed for more food/beer is we didn't have to go change our son's diaper in the car.

Delicious beer and tasty, filling food. I had a chicken apple sausage and an IPA. Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere.

Walked in at 9:38 PM on a Friday to an empty bar room. The bartender said they were closed for a private event even though the sign outside says that the private event ended at 9 PM and that they are open until 11pm. I’m not sure why I couldn’t sit down for a quick beer but that’s too bad. Not exactly a warm welcome.

Horrible service! We stayed in Coupeville and decided to try this brewery. We walked there from the Pier area where our AirBnB was, 9 blocks one way. Their website said they were open until 10 pm. We arrived there and it was closed! A taped note on the door said doing maintenance. Since they did not change their hours to reflect this, we walked 18 blocks for nothing!
