“I was delighted to drive by this brewery and beer garden just a block off Tieton's main square. Inside, the bar has an industrial feel, with stainless steel from the beer vats and a concrete-and-wood bar. I love that there's a variety of seating options on the patio, which look to have been made with reclaimed wood: large, round tables; adirondack chairs; benches. Great for if you're with a group or by yourself. Bring a sweater if the patio's in shade!

I enjoyed the Fresh Outta County Oatmeal Stout. It was rich with a medium-to-heavy body, and lots of toasty oat flavor. One of the best stouts I've had in a while.

I also opted for the Shorthead Fresh HBC Hazy 586. It was described as a denser hazy IPA with more alcohol, using fresh hops, which all sounded good to me (I am not that knowledgeable of beer). I loved it! Bright citrus came through, with enough body to please my stout-loving soul and enough pine to keep me intrigued.

“Simple and small place. Appears the person at the front was the only one who was working there (maybe one other?) Appreciated the menu on a pamphlet I can take home, also the pictures on the wall with the names of the Salvadorian dishes was helpful. Good price for it all. My friend and I ordered the pupusas (there were so many variations of the filling you can choose from) and fried plantains. I was full off two pupusas, and brought the rest of the food home. Overall, straightforward and would come again. A hidden gem in a small town nearby. I recommend.”

“We two visited Tieton and spotted Santos Bakery, so decided to get a pastry to go with our picnic lunch. This review is about our experience purchasing and devouring those pastries.FOOD: 5.0. We both chose the same eclair-shaped Mexican pastry (new to us) that has a banana-custard filling. Outstanding. The banana taste was subtle - just right. Thankfully not too sweet - perfect. Texture - luscious. Heavenly!SERVICE: 5.0. A baker was bringing out pastries when we were there, and kindly and warmly answered our questions about the pastries.”
