Not going to lie, the food was great, staff super nice. Only complaint is the 20% service feed that was added to the bill. Won't be going again. I chose what the tip should be.

Went there to support my friends band that was playing there. I ordered a Jamison Manhattan. It was one of the skimpiest pours I've seen but that wasn't an issue. When I asked the price $28!!! That's twice the price of the Space Needle let alone a Des Moines dive bar.

Edit: Heard from one of the band members that the insane prices had been adjusted. I made a return visit and the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was quaint and comfortable...

Love this place every time we can get in there. I loved their bread pudding so it’s kinda of a bummer when it’s not available. My favorite is their shrimp Po boy but honestly all their food is great. Their kickers and hush puppies! Best appetizers ever!
