Great Kayak rental and awesome customer service. We were able to use a double Kayak for two adults and a six year old. I recommend this place for families looking fun adventures in Des Moines.

Des Moines Snack Shack, located on the beach at Salt Water State Park, offers great beach food like nachos and hotdogs. Visitors enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and nearby attractions like a Pokemon gym and Pokestops. While parking can be a challenge, the short walk from free parking areas is worth it. Open until 6 pm, it's a perfect spot for a quick bite during a beach visit.
