Finally a local place to kayak!! Very nice family ran and family friendly rental place. Was such a peaceful and relaxing kayaking trip near the beach up to Des Moines Marina and back. Will definitely be back for sure. Would highly recommend!
We have rented kayaks twice from the Des Moines snack shack! Both times we had so much fun! I highly recommend going by and checking them out, with awesome people there and great prices why wouldn’t you want to stop by on a hot day?! They have great snacks for when your out by the water and also all the necessary things you’ll need to spend a day out on the water!! ?
Decent quick type of food like hamburger, hot dog, nachos, packaged foods like chips, drinks and ice cream. Friendly and fairly quick turnaround time. Nothing fancy, but definitely good for a quick bite.
