We haven't been to many Indian restaurants since we always go back here every time we are craving for Indian food.. portion is good and the taste is consistent. The owner is very accommodating too.
I honestly was not sure what I would get with takeout 30 minutes from the end of dinner service.
I got some of the flakiest fried fish I have ever gotten in Des Moines, entombed in a crispy batter crust thick with red tikki masala spices. While I was waiting for the food, I had a creamy mango lassi so good, I bought another one for the road from the sweet girl behind the register who had made it.
My husband’s lamb biryani was not shabby either with big chunks...

I dropped in for lunch, and the Indian dish I ordered was fast and delicious and generous portions. The rice was light and fluffy-- particularly good. Service was friendly and professional.
