Decent food, but you'd expect much more for the price. Save your money and go to Anthony's... especially when they open back up. ?

We actually went there last night, but we were so tired when we got back that I didn't post. Anyway, thought we'd share the pictures. Kyle, our wait staff was so awesome (easy on the eyes too...lol). We started with the Crab Cake Appetizer; so tasty, you definitely know it's real crab as they don't overfill with breading; would order this every time. Then we both had Caesar Salads, which we "cleaned our plates", need I say more? For our main courses, my daughter had New York Steak and a Lobster Tail (that was a huge tail) with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables (Asparagus this time and perfect). I had the Seafood Fettuccine (could definitely taste the sherry); delicious btw). It had clams, scallops, salmon, cod and shrimp, so it hit all my seafood cravings for sure!! Food was pretty tasty.I did think a bit more attention to details would put this restaurant over the top (ie: cloudy wineglass and spotted utensils, which they totally corrected right away, so Kudos). Keep in mind that you're on the waterfront, so some things can't be avoided, especially if patrons are slathered in suntan lotions which soil the table linens. My Tropical Tea was especially surprising and lip-smackingly great, so you'd want to try it!!

Hoping they reopen soon as it's the only restaurant at Redondo Beach. I love walking the boardwalk and it's also a popular cold plunge and divers spot.

Please reopen soon. We love salty's! This location was the closest to our house and so beautiful! Every day the marina is full of people walking and hanging out, it's a shame this is shut down.

My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We were immediately seated on the patio with a nice view of Seattle. My wife got a bowl of chowder, and I got the 1936 Roll for appetizers. We ordered the same thing for lunch - Smothered Rock Fish (pan-fried with bay shrimp étouffée). The chowder was good - no complaints. I tried it, and we were left with the same impression- good, not great. The 1936 roll - didn't hold together. We ended up eating it with a fork. The rockfish was well cooked & enjoyable. The étouffée was also ok, but it's not New Orleans. Overall the meal & service was good, but I felt it was overpriced. The restaurant also adds a 4% surcharge which I'm not a fan of, but I get it. Overall it was a pleasant experience with good food but overpriced.

When are you coming back? We are waiting! This is our favorite go to bar. Great service and food. Miss seeing Cory Wilds here and your delicious clam chowder.

What has happened to Salty's at Redondo? Why is the parking lot in such disrepair? This restaurant is in a prime location and is the only one serving the waterfront community. If you are not going to reopen, please consider selling this location so this community can be served.

I looked here and on Google to decide where to have our last meal during our weekend escapade in Seattle. Was a non planned trip. The reasons changed and it became a sighting and adventurous weekend. And with such a positive vibe I wanted good seafood for my BF. He deserved an amazing place. So after the great reviews here I decided to see for myself (well, I said I hope is that good. But it was even better) The view, The Menu, The Location and an amazing waiter OKA, He made our visit memorable. I'm so happy I can't wait to go back. It's a perfect spot to celebrate any important event in your life. The food, the staff even for 2 Iowans residents like us without a clue of what to do, this was an awesome experience. I totally recommend to those seafood experts or clueless like us. I'm very grateful of a magnificent experience that only could get better with an special bonus, a rainbow for some epic pictures on front of such wonderful view. Totally recommend this spot! Won't disappoint.

This place has an awesome brunch. Go hungry. I suggest starting with a cold bar of crab legs oysters and shrimp. They also have a seafood at Seviche. Then once you're done there I suggest getting yourself eggs benedict and any fish that the chef special has created. They're very generous with the breakfast meats and the roasted mushrooms are to die for. I think it went back for 6 servings. They have a chocolate fountain with pineapple and strawberries perfect ending to a beautiful meal.

I expected fireworks and a parade when i finally made it to Salty's. The Redondo location wasnt my first choice , but the Alki location Sunday buffet was already full and I was unable to make a reservation. Lets begin with the appearance. from the outside, it looks very small almost like a 3 or 4 bedroom rambler. Walking inside... yikes... the inside needs a total remodel. The decor is old and honestly i was expecting so much more for the amount of money they charge for this brunch buffet. Its like going into your 78 year old grandfathers house, which just happens to be on the water. They have a outdoor deck location, that section appeared to be closed. I did want to sit near the windows to see the water and add that to the experience, but they sat us in the odd 3 table kind of landing area. Shrugs! The had the waiter come explain to us how the buffet worked, that was cool. The food variety was cool, alot of choices. I started with scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled salmon, and something they claimed was gumbo but seemed more like gravy and shirmp /sausage to me (just okay). The had a tray they claimed was pesto claims/mussels, but literally every shell was empty, i had to fish the bottom of the dish to get the 3 i found. Sheesh! the price $50 per person, a little on the high end for the experience. I am only giving them 3 stars because i enjoyed walking out on the pier beside them when we finished brunch, which was a bonus because i love the water. I think they could use a remodel, its really tight on the inside of this place, my chair was bumping into the woman behind me each time i stood up and I apologized to her 3 times at least. I loved the mountain of crab legs and the chocolate fountain BUT the foods were split up in a very weird way. The hot food was on one side of this wall and you literally had to walk around the corner to find the crab legs and choc fountain, shrimp, and bloody mary bar. The set up is weird i imagine due to the small size of this place. felt like we had brunch on a house boat. I will try out the Salty on alki before i totally give up with them 100% . Just okay for me!

We use to go to Salty's for special occasions and my Favorite thing was to get a slice of their raspberry filled cake. During my birthday, my husband went and bought a slice. When he got home, we both noticed how small it was and since we had gotten it so many times before we thought it was unusual so we made it a point to call and inquire if they had made changes. The lady that answered the phone kind of just disregarded it completely with a condescending tone. I would assume companies would appreciate some feedback.
